Hybrids of Hope is a non-profit organization providing reliable transportation for families with children suffering from childhood cancer. Our goal is to relieve some of the stress from the families who are dealing with the daily pressures of living a life with a high needs cancer child. No one should have to use public transportation to bring their little one’s to the children’s hospital and we want to help as many families as possible!
Peter Neilson and his family battled through the devastating loss of their baby boy Everett, who passed away from brain cancer. After their loss, and picking up the pieces, it was time to think about how they could help relieve pain in some way for families in need. Hybrids of Hope came about from a dreary background but offers hope for others that need reliable transportation. After seeing families bring their little ones to the children’s hospital using public transportation or out of shape vehicles, they made a promise to ourselves to help as much as possible! This is where you come in 😉
Your donations go directly towards purchasing reliable hybrid vehicles for families in need. Every dollar helps us reach our goal!
Donations are needed to help keep us going. If you have an older (but in decent shape) hybrid that you would like to donate to our cause we would love to help a family in need!
On a case by case basis we will also take non-hybrid vehicles to help support the mission. We will inspect every vehicle for FREE whether it is donated or not!
